Graciano, a Spanish red grape best known for its role in traditional Rioja blends, brings depth and structure with notes of black cherry, blackberry, plum, violet, pepper, clove, licorice, and dried herbs. Despite being grown primarily in Rioja, this grape also finds its way into other Spanish regions and even some parts of California. Expect a wine that is powerful yet balanced, with high acidity and firm tannins, making it an excellent accompaniment to dishes like grilled beef, hard cheeses, and those seasoned with paprika or herbs.
