This Kosta Brown Pinot Noir comes from a grape variety that is widely regarded as one of the most challenging to grow, yet in the right hands produces some of the most coveted wines in the world. With its thin skin and sensitivity to climate, Pinot Noir thrives in cooler climates like those found in Oregon's Willamette Valley, California's Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley, New Zealand's Marlborough, and parts of Chile. Expect a lighter-bodied wine with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, rose petal, earth, mushroom, and forest floor, which can develop intricate secondary and tertiary notes as it ages. Its delicate tannins make it an excellent pairing for salmon, duck, roast chicken, and other delicately spiced dishes.
